Independencia Walkway

The Independencia walkway is the cultural and artisan heart of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, a street with origin in the 18th century that today is lived as a walk full of identity and color. To walk this way is to immerse yourself in the essence of the people: traditional facades, music, aromas and an atmosphere that invites you to travel without haste. Each section reveals a natural combination between living history and daily life, where the past is not displayed, it is inhabited. A rich offer of local crafts is displayed along the walk, with specialized shops in ceramic, blown glass, textiles and unique handmade parts. Recognized galleries, such as those of Agustín Parra and Sergio Bustamante, make the walk a constant artistic experience.
