Fray Antonio Alcalde Walkway Pedestrian

Fray Antonio Alcalde Walkway is one of the most emblematic pedestrian corridors in the historic centre of Guadalajara. With an extension of more than two kilometres, it connects iconic spaces of the city such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabañas Cultural Institute and the Glorieta de La Normal, integrating squares, temples, markets and heritage buildings along its journey. This walk was designed to prioritize the pedestrian, promote non-motorized mobility and strengthen public life. Along its course you can see trees, urban furniture, fountains, public art and tourist signs, making it an ideal space for walking, cycling or simply enjoying the urban landscape.
