Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary

The Parish of Nuestra Señora del Rosario is the oldest building in Zapotlanejo and one of the main historical and religious references of the municipality. Its construction began in 1710 and ended in 1790, reflecting a long process of building proper to the colonial era. The temple is dedicated to the Virgin of the Rosary, patron of Zapotlanejo, whose devotion has been a central element in the religious and cultural life of the community over the centuries.
