Our Lady of Guadalupe (Chapalita)

The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, located in the heart of the Chapalita colony, was erected in 1970 by Archbishop José Salazar López in order to worship the Virgin of Guadalupe. Its architectural design is modernist, highlighting its roof to two waters and the breadth of its spaces, allowing the temple to be perfectly illuminated thanks to its large windows. The church has a tower that houses four liturgical bells, used in religious celebrations, as well as three additional bells that are part of the temple clock, adding a touch of solemnity and sound beauty to the environment. This temple is a clear example of the modernity applied to religious architecture, integrating functionality, beauty and devotion into a single space.
