Place description
Here they lived three generations of the family López Portillo, the first was Jesus López Portillo and Serrano, then José López Portillo and Rojas, and finally José López Portillo and Weber who sold the house to Alberto Uribe Valencia. Ignacio Mateo Guerra and Alba, the first bishop of Zacatecas, also lived there. The estate was bought by the City Council of Guadalajara in the 1980s, and intervened. It is well preserved in its general aspect, with its courtyard set to the use of the 19th and early 20th century. It is currently a museum and cultural center.
