Museum of the People's Arts of Jalisco

This house, which dates back to the late 18th century, began with a single level, and in the 19th century was added a second floor. In the late 1990s, the Department of Artistic and Historical Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco rescued the estate to become the Museum of Popular Arts. The restoration took place between 1997 and 1999. The eclectic style of the construction, with a façade of neoclassical elements and the interior decorated with French-type rococo plaster, is a sample of the fusion of times and architectural styles.
