Place description
The Zapopan Art Museum (MAZ) is a contemporary art museum located in the Zapopan Historical Centre. It is the work of the architects María Emilia Orendáin and Enrique Toussaint, it is dependent on the City Council of Zapopan and was inaugurated in 2002. Its mission is to generate experiences that encourage reflection and learning through contemporary art, as well as to promote dialogue between the established and new ideas that foster complex knowledge and self-thought.
