Statue A Doña Beatriz Hernández

In the heart of the Tapathy Pearl, in the Historical Centre of Guadalajara, on the side of the Teatro Degollado and in front of the Supreme Court of Justice is the Monument to Beatriz Hernández, the woman who, in the midst of her anger for so much moving, convinced with her speech to the 63 European families that this was the last and final foundation of the villa, in what is the Valley of Atemajac and that with the passage of time would become what is today the city of Guadalajara. This monument along with the Plaza Fundadores, remember the fourth and last foundation of the city of Guadalajara.
