Casa José Clemente Orozco

The Casa-Taller José Clemente Orozco was built between 1944 and 1945 by the artist himself, one of the great exponents of Mexican muralism and a key figure of modern art in the country. Located in Guadalajara, this property was conceived as an intimate space for its creative process, where Orozco was able to work freely during the last years of his life. After his death in 1951, his family decided to donate the house to the State Government with the aim of preserving his legacy and keeping his artistic spirit alive. Since then, the building has been adapted as a cultural center that pays tribute to the life and work of the muralist.
